Helen Spencer

Biography

Helen obtained her law Degree at the University of Teesside in 2008 and went on to complete her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York in 2009.

Since completing her LPC, Helen has worked in a number of legal assistant roles, mostly in residential conveyancing.

She relocated to the south in 2014 and, following a career break which included moving to Cyprus for a year and a half, Helen took on her training contract at a firm in Oxfordshire in May 2023, qualifying into residential conveyancing in May 2025.

Having now come back to her roots in the North East, Helen joined Merritts’ conveyancing department as a Solicitor in September 2025.
