Helen Baxter

Biography

Helen obtained a law degree from Hull University before completing her solicitor’s finals at Newcastle Polytechnic (now Northumbria University).

Helen has been with Merritts Solicitors LLP since 1991 and has over twenty years experience of acting in a wide variety of litigation matters and disputes. She specialises in employment and family matters and acts for clients in accident and compensation claims along with acting for businesses in all litigation matters including complex high value disputes.

Helen can advise you in all personal and business disputes including contractual and financial disputes through to boundary and neighbour disputes. As well as having extensive experience in many types of court action Helen will consider with you alternative ways of resolving any dispute including negotiation and mediation. Her priority is to work with you to find the most effective and cost efficient way to manage and settle your dispute.
